About
Hi there, my name is Gianna, but you can call me Gi. I am a part-time PhD student at The Courtauld Institute of Art and a Collection Information Assistant (Provenances) at The National Gallery as part of the Digital Dossier Programme, an initiative to bring all of their collection research online. I have experience in art historical research, cataloguing, collection management systems, object handling and arts administration. My research interests include drawings by 20th-century Italian sculptors, spirituality and mysticism, sacred and devotional images, the history of belief, and the role that works of art play in religious culture.
